...than me. I feel similarly, but with no children, I think I have fewer reminders of my own impending mortality. However, you seem to derive the same satisfaction I do from living your life correctly. Look after your family, be the best person you can be, make the world a little better, and sleep easy.
It's only when selfishness leads us to act in our own interest at the expense of others that we earn our self-questioning and regret.
